Accompanied by a guide, discover the rich historic past along with the excellent products of the neighbourhood.  While visiting the attractions of St-Roch you can enjoy along your way the great cooking of the restaurants.
During your walk, from the "Jardin St-Roch" to the building "La Fabrique" and passing by the first public market of Québec, you will come across some beautiful culinary discoveries of the neighbourhood.

The Fresque of the Library Gabrielle-Roy (350, St-Joseph est)

(rue du Roi) Inaugurated in 2003, the Fresque of the library Gabrielle-Roy is located on the wall of the library overlooking onto the "rue du Roi".   The fresque was created by Murale Création to highlight the 20 years of the library Gabrielle-Roy. With a dimension of 600m2, she tells the literature landmarks along with the history of the public libraries of Quebec City from the XIXth to the XXth century. Its content is in relation with the cultural, architectural and human Quebec environment since it's supported by 20 quotations from yesterday and today literature works describing Quebec over the years.  

Les Fresques des piliers

The Fresques des piliers are next to the boulevard Charest Est, near the extremity of the street St-Joseph in Saint Roch's neighborhood. These "fresques" of Quebec City begun in the summer 2000 and contributed to the embellishment of an amazing urban site in Quebec. The names of the Fresques des pilliers are as followed: La Cathédrale et Le fond marin, Le Conte et La Porte du paradis, l'Horloge, Hommage aux cirques québécois et Le Temple multicultural.
  

The sqaure of St-Roch Church

(590, rue Saint-Joseph Est) The church Saint-Roch is located on the street Saint-Joseph Est. After the revitalization of the street Saint Joseph Est and the demolition of the old city center mail, the restoration of the Saint-Roch Church and its square are part of a vast project reviving an urban neighbourhood. Since 2001, Saint-Roch Church and its square welcome multiple community and artistic activities of several concerts, from the Festival des musiques sacrées de Québec and the Quebec City Summer Festival.
